Framework of Service

These terms govern all services provided by WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA PACKAGING & DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, INC., including but not limited to domestic transport, cargo handling, and warehouse storage solutions in our Asheville facility. By engaging our team, you're agreeing to these parameters. We've optimized this layout for your readability on any device. Really.

Cargo Liability

Our standard liability for transit-based cargo is limited to $0.50 per pound per item, unless a higher value is declared in writing prior to dispatch. We're serious about protection, but we don't assume the role of your primary insurer.

Warehouse Limits

Storage at Asheville 28804 is subject to a 30-day billing cycle. Liability for warehouse loss is capped at 100 times the base monthly storage rate for the affected shipment. Don't let your inventory sit longer than needed.

Transit Delays

While we maintain a strict schedule, WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA PACKAGING & DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, INC. is not responsible for consequential damages resulting from delays caused by weather, traffic congestion, or force majeure events. Efficiency is our goal, safety is our priority.

Payment Terms

All invoices are due Net 15 unless otherwise specified in your Master Service Agreement. Late payments incur a 1.5% monthly fee. We keep the trucks moving when the cash flow is smooth.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these conditions, "Client" refers to any person or company requesting freight transportation or logistics services from WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA PACKAGING & DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, INC.. "Goods" means all cargo, freight, or items accepted for storage or transit.

2. Client Responsibilities

You'll ensure all items are properly packaged for palletized transport. Is the paperwork accurate? It better be. WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA PACKAGING & DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, INC. reserves the right to refuse cargo that poses a safety risk to our drivers or equipment. We don't mess around when it comes to Asheville road safety.

3. Claims Process

Visible damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery. All other claims must be submitted in writing within 7 business days. Beyond this window, we're unable to verify the chain of custody. No exceptions.
